Currently seeking a full-time, Medical Office Supervisor in the Credentialing Office. The Medical Staff Office (MSO) Supervisor provides leadership, management, and operational oversight to the medical staff services office. This role works collaboratively to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate MSO programs, committees, bylaw adherence, and record keeping as required. Coordinates all aspects of the credentialing process, including appointments and reappointments and communication with recruitment and hiring managers. Ensures that MSO functions are supported, goals attained, plans realized, with adherence to the requirements of regulatory and accreditation bodies. Supports medical staff officers, service chairs, committee chairs, and members for all aspects of medical staff operations.

Requirements:
* Associate's degree in business or health related field or education can be substituted with current certification from the National Association of Medical Staff Services for Medical Staff Coordinators
* 3 years of experience working in a Medical Staff Office, with progressive management responsibilities for all operational functions. In-depth knowledge of the credentialing process-initial appointment, reappointment, privilege delineation and focused and on-going provider monitoring.
* Experience interpreting and applying regulatory standards (The Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation, NCQA standards) Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft web-based programs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently with healthcare professionals both in and out of the hospital environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Superb organizational skills. Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality. Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and who can also take direction appropriately. Ability to identify problems as they arise.
