NEW Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator Opportunity
Location: Memphis, TN Area
Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Seeking an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator to lead the clinical and operational functions of a busy outpatient surgical facility. This leadership role oversees the daily operations of the surgery center while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong healthcare leader with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills who can manage both clinical and business operations in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all clinical and business operations of the ASC

  • Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to financial, administrative, and personnel operations

  • Oversee facility programs including Quality Management, Risk Management, Safety, and Infection Control

  • Monitor scheduling for patients, physicians, and staff to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness

  • Ensure compliance with state licensure, CMS regulations, OSHA, CLIA, and accreditation standards (JCAHO, AAAHC, etc.)

  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, supervision, and performance management of staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management (required)

  • Advanced degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management (preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ASC Administrator or Director of Nursing

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
