Job Title: Supervisor – Environmental Services (Evenings/Nights)
Location: (North of Burlington)
Shift: Full-Time, variable 1 PM – 2 AM (generally 8-hour shifts)
Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Supervisor for Environmental Services to oversee evening and night operations. This role supports the Environmental Services Manager by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and high-quality standards throughout the hospital. The Supervisor leads a team, ensures timely completion of work, and fosters a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train Environmental Services staff; participate in hiring and onboarding.

• Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Conduct rounds and complete work order follow-ups.

• Implement efficient cleaning and floor maintenance practices.

• Maintain staff schedules and checklists; reassign tasks as needed.

• Model excellent customer service and positive attitude with staff, patients, and visitors.

• Communicate updates via weekly emails and staff bulletin boards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of Environmental Services leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hospital safety, infection control, and floor maintenance.

• Valid driver’s license and insurable under hospital policy.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking; occasional lifting up to 55 lbs.

• Exposure to cleaning agents, extreme temperatures, bloodborne pathogens, and uneven surfaces.

• Required protective equipment: mask, gloves, gown, face shield, booties, hairnet, goggles.

Compensation: $20.00 – $28.89/hr
