Position: Athletic Trainer
Job Description:
Assists physicians other athletic trainers orthopedic surgeons APPs and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics.
Follows patient from arrival to departure.
Ensures patient and physician needs met to support patient experience.
Prepares charts for visits testing approvals.
Assists in procedure / surgery scheduling contributes to clinical regulatory readiness inventory/stocking patient phone call responses other duties as assigned including of subordinate positions.
Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree: Athletic Training accredited program - Required
Masters Degree: Athletic Training accredited program - Preferred
Experience 2 years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting - Required
BOC - Certified Athletic Trainer - Required
AT-LIC - PA Athletic Trainer - Required
BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - Required #Jose
