Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the department lead for Microbiology, overseeing workflows, compliance, and quality standards

• Perform advanced microbiology testing and interpretations in a CAP-accredited lab

• Provide technical and operational supervision, acting as a resource for the laboratory team

• Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory and accreditation requirements

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support accurate and timely diagnostic outcomes

• Troubleshoot instruments, mentor staff, and support continuous improvement in the department
