Job Description

Overview

Partners with Talent Acquisition leadership to administer and manage recruiting processes and procedures; ensures the team is innovative and compliant. Identifies the best candidate for open positions and manages candidate sourcing, interview, and selection processes. Responsible for providing departmental administrative support such as: contacting candidates and confirming interview schedules, conducting background verifications and reference checks, creating and assisting with new hire paperwork, and conducting exit interviews.

Qualifications

Education:

  • College degree in Human Resources or closely related field; or related experience required

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources field with emphasis on Recruitment.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required

Responsibilities

  1. Researches and sources potential candidates via company website and numerous online sources, employee referrals, and on-site recruiting events.
  2. Assists’ with determining candidate selection criteria and developing interview questions with hiring managers.
  3. Identifies and analyzes talent to match potential candidate skill-sets to the company’s open positions.
  4. Screens candidates for hiring events, distributes resumes and assists’ recruiters with conducting phone screens and interviews with candidates.
  5. Acts as the subject matter expert for the candidate answering all questions regarding the role, the company, and all policies and procedures.
  6. Assists sites with conducting employment verifications, reference checks, and submitting background investigations.
  7. Coordinates with candidate and management teams to align interview schedules and platforms.
  8. Verifies candidate employment history and licensures (for nurses, physicians, and all other healthcare professionals) upon hire.
  9. Extends candidate offers and coordinates new employee orientation.
  10. Prepare postings in applicant tracking system; verify accuracy of ad runs each week.
  11. Coordinates direct mailing efforts and maintains month job posting packages.
  12. Process advertising invoices and tracks advertising costs via the company’s Ad Cost Report.
  13. Maintains accurate and compliant metrics, records, and reports pertaining to applicant flow, interviews, and staffing; assists’ with candidate input into Kronos applicant database.
  14. Monitors recruitment mailbox and voicemail; responds to general employment inquiries as appropriate.
  15. Assists’ with start-up efforts including the completion of necessary paperwork for new hires, creation and distribution of offer letters, company Welcome letters, and New Hire Packets.
  16. Coordinates gathering and shipment of supplies for job fairs, site visits and start-ups.
  17. Coordinates registration and payment for events, and assist in making travel arrangements for recruiting team.
  18. Advanced proficiency of current Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
  19. Ability to work remotely as needed and provide support during non-traditional business hours as needed.
  20. Ability to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  21. Ability to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  22. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines.
  23. Knowledge of recruiting operations, procedures, practices, guidelines and Human Resources.
  24. Ability to remain alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
  25. Ability to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
  26. Knowledge and experience with behavioral interviewing.
  27. Business acumen and negotiation skills.
  28. Verbal and written communication skills.
  29. Ability to develop consultative relationships.
  30. Knowledge of social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
  31. Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting.
  32. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  33. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM).
  34. Performs other duties as assigned.
