Supports operations personnel to include the Chief of Institutional Operations, Director of Operations, Regional Staff and the Operations Manager. Acts as liaison between the Home Office Staff and Site Staff. Additionally, the Operations Support Specialist supports the implementation of new contracts and training of new site administrative staff as needed. Travel required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Experience:

  • Medical and / or Correctional industry knowledge/experience mandatory. Site Administrative experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required.
  • Willing to obtain CCHP
  • Responsible to provide support to staff as assigned.
  • Provide support and act as liaison for site and regional staff.
  • Provide training and support to administrative site personnel and act as mentor to new site Administrative Assistants.
  • Monitor, train and audit ERMA CM operations.
  • Monitor and Audit select monthly reports.
  • Perform Audits as requested by Regional Staff to include, but not limited to, Payroll Audits, Schedule Audits, ERMA CM Audits, Credentialing Audits, etc.
  • Organize and manage new site Contract Implementations. Supports the on-site implementation of new contracts to include the orientation of administrative support personnel.
  • Assist in forms management to include creating, editing and updating as part of the Forms Committee.
  • Coordinate and conduct trainings, conference calls and informational emails as needed.
  • Maintain Staffing Matrix and Position Control management and training.
  • Assist and support Regional Managers, Regional VP’s and Regional Support Staff as needed to include long term and short term operations projects, assisting with licensures and security clearances, industry related research or other duties as requested.
  • Responsible to inform supervisors of any difficulties in handling assigned work so priorities can be established to ensure essential tasks are completed.
  • Responsible to interrelate and work effectively with all Correct Care Solutions’ staff.
  • Responsible to maintain confidentiality as it relates to all CCS business in accordance with Correct Care Solutions’ policy and procedure.
  • Must obtain and maintain security clearance as needed.
  • Act as Operations representative and/or Site representative on committees within Home Office.
  • Ability to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  • Ability to remain alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
  • Ability to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking and detail oriented.
  • Microsoft Office with typing skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned
