Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

We're currently searching for a CRNA in Missouri! Assignment will be at a busy medical center, Monday through Friday with no call. Cases include general surgery, urology, pediatrics, and vascular. No cardiac or neurology, although there are some craniotomies.

A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
