Job Description
- Cases: General, no trauma, no CV, separate OB team
- Shift hours and schedule: 3-13s
- Estimated Privileging Timeframe: 30 days
- Regular Hours: Required
- In House Call: Required
- Weeknight – On Call (Pager): Required
- Weekend – On Call (Pager): Required
- Is there overtime expected? Yes
- Case Type(s): General
- MDs supervising CRNAs 2:1 ratio
- MDs doing their own cases
- EMR: EPIC
- Shift Type: 12 hour
- Must have an active state license
- Responsibilities | Pre-anesthesia assessment | Obtains and/or verifies patient consent | Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient | Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia | Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition | Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Requirements | Current license as a registered professional nurse | Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education | Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
