CRNA Locum Opportunity in SC

TYPE: 1099 Contract - Locum Tenens

LOCATION: West Columbia, SC

Need: CRNA - several openings!

When: 5/1/24 or as soon as credentialed for 13 weeks with extension possible

Shifts: Mon-Fri, 40 hrs per week (five 8 hr shifts each week with possibly some flexibility on shift times: 7a-3p, 7a-5p, 7a-7p

Pay: Great Rate of Pay! Lodging, Airfare and Rental Car/Mileage included!

Malpractice insurance provided!

DETAILS:

• Support staff: Anesthesia techs

• Patients per day: Approximately 150 anesthetics per day between Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.

• Patient population/age: 18 – Geriatric. Very limited pediatric cases but travelers is not included in pediatric cases

• Department description: Large department of 70 CRNAs with 15 anesthesiologists working under Medical Direction Care Team model providing anesthesia for generally, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular cases

• EMR: Epic (Preferred)

• Special Equipment: Have Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps. Utilize Draeger anesthesia machines.

• Skills required: No regional or block skills needed

• Will NOT be working autonomously.

REQUIREMENTS:

Board Certification: CRNA

• State license required: Yes

• DEA: Yes

• Certifications preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS

• Minimum experience required: 3 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days, COVID vaccine required-no exemptions
