CRNA: Tampa Florida

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CRNA to work locum shifts in Tampa Florida (FL). Start date July 10th 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The CRNA role:

• Must be cross-credential and be able to work between the 4 AHT facilities; Tampa, Carrollwood, and Westly Chapel, and New Tampa Surgery Center.
• Preferred Schedule is Four 10’s with flexibility of which four days it will be each week
• No Call required. Would prefer some occasional weekend call coverage.
• Cases include everything except burns, transplants, and trauma. No OB, No hearts for our CRNA's, but the practices do see both. If they can do OB they may do a little OB but it’s not a requirement
• Interested clinicians need to have at least 2 years of experience, specifically recently history of practicing at facilities of similar size (i.e. this is mostly for AH Tampa which is a big, fast moving facility with almost 40 OR’s, so we need CRNA’s with recent experience in this type of setting)
• Average time to credential: 90-120 days
• Shift length: 8s, 10s, 12s
• Shift days: Monday - Friday
• Minimum # of shifts per month: 20
• No call; No weekends
• Majority Case Type: A little of everything
• 38 ORs
• EMR: Epic

Requirements of the CRNA role:

• FL state license; active, unrestricted
• Active Board certified- NBCRNA
• Certifications- BLS and PALS
• Must have 1 year of CRNA experience
