Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA looking for long-term weekday coverage in a high-acuity, hospital-based setting. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026, and ongoing through the end of 2026.
Job Details:
Scheduling - FLEXIBLE! 1 shift/week or 1-2 weeks/month minimum
Will license
Will pay all travel
Up to 1 year contracts
Offer within 24-48 hours!
Case Types: Large vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, ortho, general, thoracic; few pediatrics (locums will not do pediatrics or hearts).
Special Procedures: CRNAs administer their own drugs and place epidurals, spinals, and arterial lines.
Setting: Acute care hospital; Level I Trauma Center
Schedule: Flexible shifts (8s, 10s, 12s); minimum 1 shift/week; open to 1–2 weeks/month; must be open to occasional call (beeper only, max 1–2 shifts/month).
Support: Medically directed care team model (1:4); collaborative department with 30+ anesthesiologists and 70+ CRNAs.
EMR System: Cerner
Hospital Size: 700 beds
Requirements:
Active CRNA Certification (NBCRNA)
Virginia license required (compact license accepted; open to licensing)
Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience preferred
Level I trauma experience required
COVID-19 vaccination status required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days (expedited option: 30–45 days)
Name-clear process required
