Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Minnesota (Rural Hospital Setting – ~2 hours from Minneapolis)
Start Date: ASAP–February (can accommodate late January if credentialing allows)
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
Schedule & Coverage
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts with one 10-hour block (flexible based on preference)
- Weekday and weekend/holiday call (typically 1 in 6)
- Must be able to respond within 30 minutes while on call
Estimated Pay Range
(Call to discuss full pay structure)
Clinical Details
- Case Load: 3–5 cases per day
- Patient Population: Adults, elderly, light peds (dental, lap cases)
- Department: 4 core ORs, Endo room, C-suite, 1 flop room, DaVinci Robot (General & OB)
- Specialties Covered: Ortho (total joints, neuro spine, sports), General, Plastics, Cosmetic & Reconstruction, Podiatry, OB, Cataracts
- C-sections: 35–50 annually
- EMR: Cerner/Oracle
- Model: CRNA-based model — no MD oversight
Skills Required
- Nerve blocks
- OB, General, Spinals
- Peds experience preferred
- Rural health experience strongly preferred
Requirements
- NBCRNA
- Active MN License
- DEA
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 2 years of experience
