Job Description
PRN Anesthesia Coverage – Michigan (Surgery Setting)
A facility in Michigan is seeking an experienced anesthesia provider for sporadic PRN coverage, with potential for ongoing intermittent dates.
Practice Details
- Setting: Surgery center
- Trauma Level: IV
- Annual Volume: ~13,000 cases
- Daily Volume: ~20 surgical cases per day (including endoscopy)
- Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics
- EMR: Epic
- Facilities: 2 ORs and 1 endoscopy suite
- OR Staff: Fully staffed
- Supervision: Supervised by an anesthesiologist
- Work Style: Must be experienced and comfortable working independently
Requirements
- Board Certified – Required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
- Active Michigan License – Required (IMLC/Compact not accepted)
- Local Provider Only – Drive-in (no flights covered)
- COVID Vaccine – Required
- Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days at time of submission)
Pre-Start & Credentialing
Prior to Start:
- Epic training required (waiver available with sufficient experience)
- Mandatory orientation (orientation compensated at half the regular rate)
Within 30 Days of Start:
- Physical exam and 5-panel drug screen (not reimbursable)
