Shifts: 08:00 am - 04:00pm - 04:00 pm - 12:00 am - 12:00 am - 08:00 am

Job description

Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) provide direct care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. They work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Provide wound care and dressing changes
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Educate patients and their families about their care
Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record (EHR)

Qualifications

Valid and active LPN license in GA
Minimum of 1 year of experience
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
