Overview:
Our federal healthcare team at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient-centered care to the Veteran population. Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with clinical standards
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Document patient care accurately within the EMR system
Support patient flow and assist with clinical procedures
Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans
Maintain patient confidentiality and healthcare compliance standards
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications:

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania required
Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of patient privacy and healthcare compliance standards
