Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to inmates, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and facility policies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to inmates, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress in medical records.
- Participate in health education initiatives for inmates, promoting wellness and preventive care.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical intervention as required.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with federal detention center policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, secure environment.
- Knowledge of federal regulations and healthcare policies applicable to correctional facilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
