Our Pharmacy Supervisor will provide management of the medication delivery system. This position will work effectively with patients departmental staff, dental staff, medical and nursing staff, security staff at all levels, administrative and support staff, and all health service providers, including, but not limited to, laboratory, hospital, medical supply, and medical and dental consultants. They will work under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator. Our Pharmacy Technician is also responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions and performing administrative duties relating to department.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year experience.
  • Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Able to work under pressure and able to relate well to patients, security, visitors and co-workers.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have LPN or RN licensure.
  • Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification.
  1. Responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions and performing administrative duties relating to department.
  2. Assist with the maintenance of pharmacy records.
  3. Assist with the maintenance of inventory and audit procedures and records.
  4. A Pharmacy Technician is responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions and performing administrative duties relating to department.
  5. Maintain PAR levels.
  6. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  7. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
  8. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
  9. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
  10. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
  11. Post orders, if applicable, per site contract.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
