Job Description
Client seeks Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant for contract assignment starting December 23-February 13 at their Corporate Health center in Prattville, AL. Clinic sees ages 6 and up for Primary Care, acute episodic care, physicals, medical surveillance, and biometric screens. This is a front and back office assignment; duties will include greeting and rooming patients, taking vitals, patient testing including flu, strep, and COVID tests, injections, blood draws, scheduling appointments and handing referrals, monitoring inventory levels, specimen collection, and assisting the provider as needed. Spirometry and audiometry experience is a plus. Hours are Monday 7:30am-6:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break, Tuesday 7:00am-5:00pm with a 60-minute lunch break, Wednesday 7:00am-6:00pm with a 60-minute lunch break, Thursday 7:00am-12:00pm, and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm. Provider must have 2+ years of clinical experience to qualify for this position, preferably in an outpatient clinic environment, and should have front and back office experience.
