Job Description

Assists health care providers, registered nurses and allied health professionals with examination, treatments, special test and routine procedures.

Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs and administers TB skin test

Conducts lab tests and ensures the results are delivered to the correct physician or registered nurse.

Reviews patient chart, records, and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient's conditions.

Schedules and coordinates paperwork for patient transfers to medical facilities or outside health care providers; administers medications, implement healthcare practitioners orders and documents all patient contacts using POMR format.

Qualifications and Job Info

1-2 years of recent experience

BLS certification

ACLS preferred

Active state license

MA/LPN/RN diploma/certification
