Job Description
MedFirst Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of healthcare staffing services, is actively recruiting an outstanding LPN (Licensed Practical Nuse) for a full-time, temporary to permanent position, with a growing Primary Care practice providing medical services in a clinic setting to commercial and industrial clients in Jeffersonville, IN. Work hours are Monday 8a-5p, Tuesday 7a-4p; Wednesday 8a-5p, Thursday 9a-6p; Friday 8a – 4p. Primary duties are scheduling appointments, assisting providers, collecting and processing lab specimens, administering injections, giving immunizations, and taking vitals. 30-minute appointments are standard, no walk-ins, no volume-based measures. No weekends, no call.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Job Requirements:
- Associate degree (LPN)
- High School Diploma
- Current CPR in BLS
- Experience with Pediatric patients
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Clean background check
- Current PPD
- Negative drug screen
- Ability to complete the credentialing process in a timely manner
