Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a federal medical center in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality nursing care and be committed to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic medical care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Monitor patient health and vital signs, updating records accurately.
- Assist with patient hygiene and daily living activities.
- Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation.
- Support physicians and registered nurses in patient care procedures.
- Educate patients about health management and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in the development of patient care plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate care.

Requirements:
- Valid LPN license from any U.S. state.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background and credit check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
