Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the federal medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and facility policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress in medical records.
- Participate in health education initiatives for patients, promoting wellness and preventive care.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical intervention as required.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, secure environment.
- Knowledge of federal regulations and healthcare policies applicable to correctional facilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
