Job Description
Client seeks Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant for contract front/back office assignment starting March 16-June 8 at their Corporate Health clinic in Lee's Summit, MO. Clinic sees employees and their family members ages 2 and up for Primary Care, acute episodic care, and Occupational Medicine services. Duties will include greeting and rooming patients, checking them in and out, taking vitals and patient history, handling patient testing, giving injections and immunizations, drawing blood, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and assisting the provider as needed. Hours are Monday 7:00am-11:00am (labs), Tuesday 7:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday & Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm (labs 7-11am on Thursday), & Friday 7:00am-4:30pm (labs 7am-12pm). Full days have 30-minute lunch break. Candidates must have 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting, to be considered for this assignment. Client needs candidates who are proficient in Phlebotomy and who can run the lab schedule independently while working. Clinic uses Labcorp for testing, and Epic and OHM for charting.
