Job Description
Client seeks Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant for contract front/back office need starting May 26-August 17 at their Corporate Health clinic in Maple Grove, MN. Clinic sees ages 2 and up for Primary Care, acute episodic care, and wellness visits. Duties will include greeting and rooming patients, checking them in and out, taking vitals and patient history, handling patient testing including EKG & spirometry, giving injections and immunizations, drawing blood, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and assisting the provider as needed. Hours are Monday & Wednesday 7:00am-4:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, all with a 60-minute lunch break, and Friday 7:00am-11:00am. Candidates must have 2+ years of clinical experience including excellent Phlebotomy experience, point of care testing experience, and experience with quality controls to qualify for this assignment. Epic EMR experience is a plus. There is a possibility of temp to perm placement for the right candidate.
