Overview:
Our organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform urodynamic testing in gynecologist, urogynecologist, and urologist offices throughout Detroit. This PRN role involves setting up testing equipment and performing bladder filling and emptying studies using pressure-sensing catheters, with full paid training provided.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: PRN, based on office needs
• Pay: $325/day worked (DOE)
• Mileage reimbursement
• Commuter reimbursement
• Paid training provided (4-5 days/week for 2-3 weeks in FL, GA, MI, or TX, with travel expenses covered)
• Relaxed, flexible schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to gynecologist, urogynecologist, and urologist offices to set up urodynamic testing supplies and equipment
• Perform urodynamic testing, a filling and emptying study of the bladder using pressure-sensing catheters that measure bladder and abdominal pressure
• Insert catheters accurately and safely for testing procedures
• Provide procedurally focused, hands-on clinical support during testing
• Transport testing equipment and supplies using personal vehicle
• Complete testing visits based on office needs and scheduling

Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license in Michigan; graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience, ideally in an outpatient or specialty practice setting
• Experience with catheter insertion required; procedurally focused with strong hands-on clinical skills
• Comfortable learning new procedure-based technical skills
• Must have own vehicle for travel between office locations
