Overview:
Our well-established home health agency is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide private duty care for a patient in their home. Our role offers a slower-paced, patient-focused environment with predictable weekend daytime hours. You will deliver one-on-one nursing care while supporting comfort, safety, and independence.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Part-time position
• Competitive pay: $30/hour (DOE)
• One-on-one private duty care setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to a private duty patient in their home
• Monitor vital signs regularly and report changes to the supervising RN or provider
• Administer medications safely according to the plan of care
• Maintain catheter care and other clinical tasks per the plan of care
• Document care, observations, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Educate the patient and family on care needs and treatment plans
• Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Provide transportation and companionship to appointments and activities

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience
• Home health or private duty experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Comfortable working in a home environment with household pets
