Job Description
- A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care, typically working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or physicians.
- LPNs are responsible for performing basic nursing tasks and providing hands-on care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and home healthcare.
- Monitor patients' vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Work with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist with care coordination and ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
