Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pediatric Care

Location: Yonkers, NY

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric care team in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in providing nursing care to pediatric residents, performing accurate physical assessments, documenting vital signs, and updating patient records in an electronic system. The LPN will collaborate with Registered Nurses and the treatment team to ensure quality care and communicate effectively with families and other staff members.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to pediatric residents in accordance with best practice standards and regulations.
- Perform accurate physical assessments and document vital signs.
- Update and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses and the treatment team to ensure quality care.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare staff.
- Document medication administration accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in daily health center reporting as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and decision-making processes.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in pediatric nursing is preferred.
- Proficient in conducting physical assessments and documenting vital signs.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
