Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care, recognizing total patient needs. Education of the patient is a major focus through formal lectures, informal counseling and education of the patient/family/significant support system. The nurse initiates nursing orders and implements physician’s orders using judgment. Shift 3p-11:30p.
Education: Licensed in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Experience: Psychiatric experience with adolescents preferred, but not required. Management experience preferred.
Other knowledge/skills: Strong communication and listening skills. Able to project a positive image and reflect a high degree of professionalism.
