Position Overview:

NurseAmerica is seeking a reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a residential mental health treatment center in Glen Allen, VA. This role is ideal for LPNs who enjoy working in a therapeutic, team-based environment with adult patients receiving structured psychiatric care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client responses
• Assist with clinical assessments and support ongoing care plans
• Provide direct patient care and respond to patient needs
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all care provided
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and psychiatric staff
• Promote safety and wellness in a residential behavioral health setting
• Assist during crisis interventions and emergency situations

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (mental health or residential care preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and calm demeanor in behavioral health settings

Schedule:

• Per-Diem / As-needed
• Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
• Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred
