Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Community-Based Healthcare | Los Angeles, CA

A community-based healthcare organization in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join its team. This position offers a stable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends, along with the opportunity to provide meaningful, client-centered care in a supportive transitional housing setting. LVNs with behavioral health, mental health, or substance-use experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Position Offers

• Competitive pay: $32–$34 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• No nights, no weekends
• Supportive, collaborative work environment
• Meaningful work providing client-centered care in a community-based setting

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
• Provide direct client care, including monitoring vital signs and overall health status
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' physical and behavioral health
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and medication administration
• Collaborate with case managers, behavioral health staff, and the care team to support client goals
• Provide health education and support to clients in a respectful, trauma-informed manner

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California LVN license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance-use, or similar community-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work compassionately with diverse client populations
