Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN supports patient care by monitoring health status, administering treatments, and assisting with daily nursing activities while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care, including wound care and vital sign monitoring

Administer medications and injections as permitted by state regulations

Assist with patient assessments and document care provided

Monitor and report changes in patient condition to RN or physician

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies

Educate patients and families on basic care and health maintenance
Qualifications:
-
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
-
Current LPN license in the state of practice
-
CPR/BLS certification (required or preferred)
