Job Description
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, a 376-bed facility, located in Columbus, GA is recruiting an additional Certified Nurse Midwife to join our hospital-employed group.
- Our hospital offers the full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room services, including the only open-heart surgery program in Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley
- State of the art technology on-site, along with most service lines
- St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is proud to be the first hospital in Georgia to have earned Perinatal Care Certification from The Joint Commission
Details:
- Joining St. Francis OB/GYN Associates
- The practice is located in a 20k sq ft state of the art medical office building attached to the hospital
- Our practice is comprised of 6 physicians and 3 CNM's
- Our midwives cover a range of women's healthcare services, including co-management of high risk obstetrical patients
- Lab, in-office ultrasound, NST and our full service women's center
- 24 hour shifts
- The midwives are off the next day, following call
- Hours are M-Th 8-5p and Fridays are a half day
- About a 60/40 split OB to Gyn
- Level I NICU
- Our group performs anywhere from 960 to 1200 deliveries a year
- TeamHealth manages our hospitalist group
- EMR: Cerner in practice and hospital
