Job Description
Certified Nurse-Midwife Opportunity in Lompoc, California
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 30 days)
Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for extension
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour Day shifts (7a–7p)
Setting: Acute care environment supporting a small OB team
This role supports a team of three OB physicians in a collaborative, low-acuity environment averaging approximately 360 births per year. Care includes well-baby support; there is no NICU on site.
EMR System: Allscripts
Highlights:
Day-shift schedule only
No call
Steady birth volume
Supportive OB team
Free parking in any unrestricted area
Credentialing: ~30 days
Licensure: Active state license required
Location: Coastal California community with access to beaches, wineries, and outdoor recreation
