Overview:
Our practice in Garland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a low-stress locum assignment primarily supervising allergy shot administrations and monitoring patients for reactions. This role is ideal for an experienced NP seeking a lighter, focused clinical setting with no heavy patient volume.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: September 30, October 1, and October 5, approximately 7:00 AM–6:15 PM, 9:15 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:15 AM–6:15 PM depending on the day
• Competitive pay: $70.00–75.00 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise allergy shot administrations
• Monitor patients following allergy injections
• Evaluate and treat any reactions related to allergy shots
• See patients only when an urgent or emergency clinical need arises
• Assess and manage acute asthma and allergy-related concerns as needed
• Provide clinical support to the physician and practice
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the physician and clinical staff to support quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong outpatient, primary care, urgent care, allergy, asthma, or multi-specialty experience preferred; hospital-based NP experience also considered
• Comfortable assessing and responding to acute patient needs when they arise
