I have a new Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner Role I would love to connect with you about today!
Role details:
Shift Schedule details and duration: 6a- 7:30p
How long is lunch break/per shift and is it deducted per shift?1 hr lunch break
Air travel, lodging OR stipend & transportation per diem
Call Schedule / Responsibilities: No call.
What specific procedures are required? Chest tube removal, Arterial Line removal, ABG, Epicardial Pacing wire removal
Is this NP Only or will PA’s be accepted also? Np only
ACLS, BCLS, RN, NP state and national e.g ANCC.
Is this for pre/post op floor coverage? Is the coverage also needed in the ICU? No ICU coverage other then for consents for procedure. Pre and post op step down and floor coverage
EMR: Epic
Cardiothoracic Surgery Stepdown unit, manages all aspects of care for Cardiothoracic Step down, pre and post op patients.
No OR or ICU coverage other than obtaining patient consent
Average census ranges from 3- 15 patients
6a-7:30p, 1 FTE needed
Feb start for 13 week assignment for LOA coverage through May
