Job Description
Great opportunity to work on an inpatient Cardiology unit and work with Board Certified Cardiologists in Southern Massachusetts - 20 min from Providence, RI, 45 min from Boston, and 30 min from Cape Cod and Newport.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Mon-Fri with day coverage on a rotating basis every fourth weekend, and with week-day time off following a weekend of work
- 3/10's during the week
- Hospital based Cardiology - inpatient rounding
- Provide follow up care alongside Cardiologists
- Will care for interventional patients before and after procedures and providing follow up care and communicating with Hospitalist and Primary Care providers
- Training in the supervision of cardiac stress tests can be arranges
- You will not be part of the acute STEMI emergency team and not scrubbing in the cath lab
