Cardiovascular Thoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Fort Wayne, Indiana (IN)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Cardio Thoracic Nurse Practitioner to work locum shifts in Fort Wayne, Indiana (IN). Starting in March 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Cardiovascular Thoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role:

· Schedule: Mon-Thur 7a-4:30p- Fri 7a-5p

· Call: Mon- Thur 4:30a-7am- Fri 5p-7a- Sat and Sun 24-hour call

· Need: 7 on 7 off (Flexible scheduling- reach out with you availability!)

· Responsibilities: Daily rounding on all inpatients (ICU, stepdown) and new consults as well as discharging patients, OR - EVH hemapro 2; help train new APPs on EVH; some open vein harvest may be needed with some fem-pop surgeries usually done in a bridging technique, first assist on some cases once you learn our surgeon's routines - there may be OR call for emergencies while on call for the weekend if needed

Requirements of the Cardiovascular Thoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role:

· Indiana state license; active, unrestricted

· Indiana State DEA
