Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a full-time locum opportunity in Richland, Washington. Starting in April 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. This assignment supports a busy cardiothoracic surgery team with a blend of surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, clinic coverage, and call responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Richland, WA 99352
• Setting: Hospital, Operating Room, and Clinic
• Coverage Dates: April 24, 2026 – July 18, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time with a mix of clinic and OR shifts
• Call: 7–8 shifts per month
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call
• Weekday Call: Night call after clinical hours

Responsibilities Include:

• Cardiothoracic surgical first assisting
• Inpatient rounding and post-operative management
• Call coverage with inpatient consults and callback first assist
• Clinic evaluation and follow-up visits
• Collaborating closely with cardiothoracic surgeons and care team
• Managing pre- and post-operative patients across hospital and clinic settings
