Inpatient Advanced Heart Failure Locum position in Indianapolis, Indiana (IN)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to work locum shifts in Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) Starting in June the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology role:

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (IN)

Start Date: June 2026 - ongoing

Schedule: Full time need, seeking coverage for 2 weeks per month. Mix of scheduled clinical work with beeper call

Setting: 100% inpatient

Volume: ~12 patients per shift

Beds: 30

Coverage:Scheduled rounding + call

Call: 1:3 beeper call

Procedures:VAD experience required

No transplant cases

Admissions: Mostly handled by hospitalists

Support:24/7 hospitalist + critical care

APP support

EMR: EPIC

REQUIRED:



IN license; active, unrestricted, or IMLC (LOQ in hand)

BC-Cardiology, Fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiology

BLS, ACLS, ABLS, DEA

VAD experience
