NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery- Townson Maryland

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner cardiothoracic surgery provider to work locum shifts in Townson Maryland (MD). Starting in October 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Cardiothoracic Surgery role:

Schedule

• 5-10 hour shifts a week
• Schedule/Shift Times 8a-5p
• No Call
• No Weekends
• # of Beds: 221
• Providers must have first assist experience in cardiothoracic surgery along with vein harvesting
• Will Candidate Work Solo? No
• EMR / Charting Epic

Requirements of the Cardiothoracic role:

• MD state license; active, unrestricted or compact license
• Board certified
• CSR Certification Required
• Minimum of 2–3 years of cardiac surgery experience
• Fully proficient in vein harvesting (VH)
• Self-Query NPDB (should be pulled within 30 days)
