Job Description
Nurse Practitioner (APRN / NP) wanted for a Part-Time position with a Coumadin Clinic within a Cardiology Department in Waterbury, Connecticut. The Cardiology Department will consider both experienced Nurse Practitioners (APRN) candidates and strong newer graduates. This position is available immediately.
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will:
1) Work within a team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and other clinical staff to provide anticoagulation treatment and management to patients in the Coumadin clinic setting.
2) Provide patient follow up care and education.
3) Coordinate with patients' Cardiology specialists and providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits:
- Hours are flexible based on Nurse Practitioner (APRN) availability (16-24 hours / week)
