A federal healthcare facility in Florence, Colorado, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its team. Position Offers

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and preventive care, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease management, and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active, unrestricted NP license
• Current national NP board certification
• Current BLS certification
• New graduates welcome; experienced NPs encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass a federal background check
