Job Description
Are you an ACNP seeking full patient automony? We are hiring highly skilled and dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioners NOW!! You will manage the defined specialized care for patients who are experiencing acute illnesses or injuries. Recognized as an interdisciplinary leader within the service area.

Position overview:
- Conduct physical assessments and medical histories of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their acute conditions and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Education and experience required:
- Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in Acute Care
- VA license or license eligible
- New Grads accepted
