NEW Heart Failure ICU Nurse Practitioner Opening in Houston, Texas

Join a leading medical center where your expertise is valued and your growth is supported. Seeking a Heart Failure ICU Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care for complex cardiac patients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage patients on VV/VA ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, heart and lung transplant, LVAD, and post-op cardiac surgery.

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and in-hospital follow-up in collaboration with a specialized team.

  • Participate in professional development and ongoing patient care improvements.

Qualifications:

  • AGACNP required

  • 2+ years RN or NP Critical Care experience (Cardiology preferred)

  • New NPs must have 2+ years Critical Care ICU RN experience

  • Willingness to train on devices

Details:

  • FT Nights, 12-hour shifts (paid for 40 hours)

  • Rotating weekends & holidays; no call

  • Generous PTO including personal days & a spiritual holiday

  • 8% geographical differential

  • 2–3 month credentialing process
