Job Description

Critical Care Provider – Inpatient (South Tampa & South Shore, FL)

Specialty: Critical Care
Start Date: February 2, 2026
End Date: Ongoing

Schedule

  • Primarily Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Occasional Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Weekday and weekend coverage required

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient Critical Care

Work Details

  • Support Staff:

    • 1 MD present for half of each shift

    • 1 APP present for the entire shift

  • Patient Volume: 6–10 patients per shift

  • Required Skills:

    • Central line placement

    • Arterial line placement

    • Intubation

    • Chest tube insertion

Requirements

  • Board Certification: Required

  • State License: Florida (Active)

  • DEA License: Florida (or easily transferable)

Credentialing

Nurse Practitioner

Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU

$75.00 - $85.00
