Job Description
Locums - A well respected medical center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with ICU capable hospitalist coverage in northern Michigan.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Start July for ongoing need
- 7on/7off schedule; days (7a-7p) or nights (7p-7a)
- Must have inpatient/ICU experience; no new grads
- Open ICU model
- Approx 2-4 admits per day; average daily census approx 22
- Must be comfortable with ICU procedures including intubations, central lines, arterial lines, vent management, chest tubes, and paracentesis
- EMR EPIC w/ Dragon dictation
- Active MI license, BLS, ACLS, recent case logs with minimum 50 cases in past 12 months
- Competitive rate, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
