- Clinical Details/Duties:
- CC/Pulmonary ICU
- Daily AM rounds with Intensivist
- Patient assessment and formulation of patient treatment plan
- Ordering and interpretation of tests and imaging
- Documenting of H&P/progress notes in the chart
- Placing transfer orders to the floor and calling report to the hospitalist APP
- Consultation with specialists
- Condition and prognosis
- Patients Per shift:
- 12-15
- Procedures:
- Central lines (both triple lumen catheters & temporary hemodialysis catheters)
- Critical Care Ultrasound
- Arterial Lines
- Chest Tubes
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Support Staff:
- Critical care physician
- EMR:
- EPIC
