Job Description
- Atlanta based 762 bed hospital
- Inpatient setting
- Critical Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner needed for night shift 7P-7A
- 762 Bed Large level 1 trauma, teaching program
- Night APP – covers neuro ICU, residents cover Med ICU; Intensivst on call
- Neuro ICU – ADC 11 – primary stroke cert; no neuro interventions; lower acuity
- Need to do ENLS cert (CME), low complexity
- Closed unit model, primary, admitted to CC svc.; consult neuro ICU
- Intensivist for Neuro ICU and other consults (admits, teaching)
- Patient Mix: Med 50%/Surg 50%
- Workload: Patients per Day Shift = 11
- Credentials Accepted: APP (NP/PA)
- Board level: Board Certified (BC), Board Eligible (BE)
- Boards: (AB Surgery) Surgery - Surgical Critical Care, (ABA) Anesthesiology - Critical Care Medicine, (ABEM) Emergency Medicine - Internal Medicine-Critical Care Medicine, (ABIM) Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine, (ABIM) Internal Medicine - Pulmonary Disease
- Must be Georgia licensed
